About the RAVE Community Grants Program

RAVE Foundation is thrilled to launch the 2024 Community Grants Program. After the success of our pilot program in 2023, we are opening this opportunity to more organizations in our network who want to use soccer as a vehicle to serve children and communities throughout Washington.

Who Can Apply?

The RAVE Community Grants Program is open to organizations working to use soccer to make a positive impact in their community. Your intended program or event must align with at least one of the following RAVE Foundation strategic focus areas:

  • Inspire free play by removing barriers and increasing access to soccer.

  • Use the inclusive nature of soccer to bind and strengthen communities.

  • Uses soccer as a vehicle to inspire health, learning, and joy.

Application Process

To apply for the 2024 RAVE Community Grants, use the APPLY NOW link above to submit your online application form by the deadline, 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

Grant Criteria

The following criteria will be used to score grant applications:

  1. Do the desired outcomes of the grant align with at least one of RAVE’s three strategic focus areas?

  2. Does the grant proposal fund a RAVE partner organization or serve a RAVE target community?

  3. Does the grant proposal include concrete and thoughtful ideas as well as a plan to make those ideas happen?

  4. Does this grant proposal include ways to measure success of the program/event being granted?

Grant Timeline

  • Application Deadline: 11:59 p.m. on November 6, 2024

  • Grant Status Notification: No later than December 2, 2024

  • Grant Awards Distributed: No later than December 31, 2024

Can I apply if I am not currently associated or in partnership with RAVE Foundation?

Yes. As long as you serve a community in which RAVE invests, and the program you are applying for addresses at least one of the three strategic focus areas outlined above, you are welcome to apply. RAVE focus communities can be found here: https://www.ravefoundation.org/fields

What if I miss the deadline?

Unfortunately, to be equitable and fair in our process, no applications will be accepted after 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 6.

Do I have to use the online form?

Yes. Use of the form is required.
